- •South African tradespeople have to meet several deadlines run by different bodies: SARS for income tax, provisional tax and VAT under the Income Tax Act and VAT Act; monthly PAYE and UIF where you have staff; the annual COIDA Return of Earnings to the Department of Employment and Labour (window 1 April to 30 June); and keeping registrations like CIDB and NHBRC current.
